Linda Zaleskie

Linda’s career began in researching and producing science news programs & documentaries for PBS, NHK, the SCI-FI CHANNEL and Science & Technology News. During this time she began working with celebrity talent and interviewing an astonishing variety of visionaries: Apollo astronauts, specialists in “reanimating” actors (as in ROGUE ONE), and even the brains behind plotting future manned missions to space. Then, her focus turned toward history. She spent six years writing and producing for HISTORY, eventually becoming the network’s Managing Producer. She directed legendary newsman Roger Mudd, actors Edward Herrmann and Robert Conrad and Apollo 13 astronaut Jim Lovell. Most recently, she’s been putting her talents to work for NBC News’ Peacock Productions, writing and producing hours for documentary series such as Deadline: Crime with Tamron Hall and Disappeared, not to mention live events like Skyscraper Live with Nik Wallenda.

Linda’s also produced short-form, sizzles and promos along the way, and Biography episodes for international audiences.

Technically, Linda has an exceptional ear for audio, making her a natural for directing celebrity and VO talent and supervising long-form narration and sound mixes. But research is her forte. You can be sure her scripts are well-written and factually rock steady. She’s also a stickler for budgets. Yet her infectious laugh lets you know she keeps it all in perspective.
