A professor is capturing the energy lost in conventional solar panels, a student is discovering proteins that affect behavior in the brain, and another is discovering ways to limit the effects of carbon released in the environment. Andrea was given this project to craft into a mini-doc about a very talented autistic child and his mother. It is a heart warming story of discovering Shawn’s talents and finding what’s special in each special needs kid.
Andrea has had the honor of editing a few series for MedscapeTV, a division of WebMD for medical professionals. This series explores the correlation of stroke and atrial fibrillation. While it can get rather technical, we work hard to maintain story and comprehensibility for the general viewer as well.

The series featured local businesses that have benefited from tremendous growth of television and film production in the five boroughs. In this 8-episode series, dog trainer Robert Haussmann solves some of the most common problems dog owners face. Andrea produced and edited the series, which aired on Scripps Networks’ online venue. In this episode, Robert faces off with two notorious counter surfers, who need to learn how to “leave it!”
